Miriam School and Learning Center

Welcome!  We are pleased to offer FACTS Grant & Aid Financial Needs Assessment as our third party partner to evaluate your application for variable tuition reduction.

Miriam's Variable Tuition Program

Variable tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families to apply for reduced tuition that is right for their families' financial situation. The goal of the variable tuition program is to make Miriam School and Learning Center affordable to qualified students who could not otherwise benefit from the school's services.

Our tuition program ensures that no family at Miriam pays the full cost of educating their student. The financial support of our generous donors and efforts of the development department reduces tuition costs for each student and allows us to match your family’s tuition rate with your unique financial situation.  Many factors are considered when evaluating a family's financial ability, including income, assets, debts, unusual expenses, and family size.

Please note that families with gross income $200,000 or greater and/or substantial assets or investments generally do not qualify for reduction of tuition.  This information may help determine if it is worth your time and effort to apply.  Funds for variable tuition are available on a first come, first served basis, and it is imperative that you apply as soon as possible to secure your award!  Submissions after January 31, 2024, will be reviewed and awarded on a limited basis.  Resources available to fund tuition reductions vary from year to year and unfortunately the school is not able to provide variable tuition to every deserving student.  We work with our available resources to make the school accessible to as many students and families as possible.
