Note to NCSEAA Award Recipients

If your student has been awarded the Opportunity Scholarship or ESA, your FACTS payment plan has been adjusted as follows:

  • The anticipated scholarship amount has been moved from your current tuition schedule to a separate incidental billing schedule within FACTS.

  • This incidental schedule reflects the full annual award and is dated for June, allowing time for the school to receive funds (typically disbursed in August and January).

  • As scholarship funds are received (Fall and Spring), the Business Office will apply them to your account. Please do not make payments toward this incidental schedule.

To avoid delays, please ensure your NCSEAA portal (https://myportal.ncseaa.edu) has your correct and current contact information, and promptly complete any required actions throughout the year.


Possible Changes to Your Account

If there are changes to your student’s scholarship status (e.g., reduction, cancellation, eligibility changes, or processing delays), your tuition balance and payment schedule may be adjusted. Families are ultimately responsible for any remaining tuition balance if scholarship funds are not granted or disbursed.


Financial Aid Adjustments & Single-Pay Discounts

  • Financial aid packages may be recalculated once final NCSEAA award amounts are confirmed.

  • If you received a single-pay discount, that discount will be adjusted to reflect your portion of tuition only, not the full amount.
