Note to NCSEAA Award Recipients:

We would like to inform you of an upcoming change to your FACTS tuition agreement related to the NCSEAA Opportunity Scholarship and ESA+ awards.

In May, our team will adjust your current FACTS payment plan by moving the anticipated scholarship amount from your current schedule to an incidental billing schedule within FACTS. This new incidental schedule will include a payment for the full annual award. This payment will be scheduled at the end of the academic year, (June) allowing ample time for the school to receive the scholarship funds, which typically arrive in August and January.

The Business Office will apply the scholarship funds to your account as they are received, (Fall and Spring award).

To ensure timely processing of your scholarship, please make sure your contact information—especially your email address—remains up to date in your NCSEAA portal, and complete any required actions throughout the year: https://myportal.ncseaa.edu.

 Possible Changes to Your Account:

Please note that if there are any changes to your student's scholarship status—such as a reduction or cancellation of the award, change in eligibility, or delays in processing—your tuition balance and payment schedule may be adjusted accordingly. Families are ultimately responsible for any remaining tuition balance if the scholarship is not granted or disbursed.

Financial Aid Adjustments and Single Pay Discounts:

Based on your student’s final NCSEAA award amount, some financial aid packages may be adjusted to reflect the updated scholarship tier levels. In addition, if you received a single pay discount, that discount will be recalculated based on your portion of the tuition—not the full amount.

Please notify Dawn Thompson at [email protected] should anything change with your anticipated award.  Ultimately, you will be responsible for the balance should the award not be granted.
