Welcome !
As you begin the SSP application process, we would like to bring to your attention that some of our partnered schools may require an additional application. To ensure a smooth and successful submission, we highly recommend that families reach out to their school of preference directly. This will allow you to verify if there are any additional steps or specific requirements you need to fulfill in relation to your SSP application.
Thank you for your interest in applying to Student Sponsor Partners! SSP is a nonprofit organization that helps NYC students reach their highest potential by providing:
- Partial scholarships to private, college-preparatory high schools
- One-on-one mentorship throughout high school
- Supplemental academic programming, including college and career prep, to boost student success during and after high school
Please review the eligibility guidelines below and submit your application with your $45 fee before December 31,2024. We encourage applications be submitted as soon as possible because admissions are rolling and there are only a set number of spots per partner school.
Once you open our application, you will be prompted to select your high school choice(s). On the "Additional Questions" portion of our application, you will have the opportunity to select your top three choices from our list of partner schools and we will do our best to meet your request if your student is selected, but SSP reserves the right to decide on the school placement.
Please Note: You must submit all requested documents for your application to be reviewed. Once your application is complete and reviewed by SSP, you will be notified whether your student will move forward to Part 2.
