We are pleased to offer you a convenient, online method to apply for financial aid through FACTS for University of Chicago Laboratory Schools.
Financial aid open date: September 1, 2026
Financial aid application due date: December 1, 2026
Two items are due on or before December 1:
(1) FACTS financial aid application and
(2) submission of your 2025 taxes.
2026 taxes are due on April 15, 2027, and are required to finalize your
award. Awards will be finalized approximately 2-4 weeks after your 2026 taxes have been submitted to FACTS (2026 taxes are due by April 15, 2027, and
it takes FACTS two weeks to verify submitted documents)
The application deadline of December 1 is for all aid applicants, both new applicants to Lab and returning students.
In cases of divorce or separation, both
parents must complete the financial aid application process and submit all
required documentation, except in cases where there is a court document
indicating that one parent is solely responsible for tuition.
