Xavier is pleased to
offer you a convenient, online, confidential method to apply for need based
tuition grants through our partnership with FACTS. There is no fee for this
application.
New Family Applications for the
25-26 school year will be accepted from Feb 1, 2025 thru Sept. 30,
2025 or until all grant funds are dispersed. Applying
by March 15, 2025 is to your best advantage. Applications
after March 15th will be considered until all funds are
dispersed.
Current Xavier Family Applications will be accepted
from February 1, 2025 thru March 15, 2025. Funds will be distributed to families that
complete the application by March 15. Applications submitted after March
15 will be considered dependent on remaining grant fund availability.
Steps to Apply for Financial Aid Online
· Sign in to FACTS or create an account to begin.
· Once signed in, select the ‘Start Application’ button
and the school year you are applying for.
· Complete the steps as prompted including the uploading of
supporting documentation.
The following documents are required as part of your
application:
· Full copy
of 2023 calendar year Federal Form 1040, 1040A or 1040-EZ U.S.
Income Tax Return for both the applicant & co-applicant if filed
separately. Note: If your 2024 Fed tax
form has been completed, feel free to upload your 2024 Federal Form 1040.
· Copies of
2024 calendar year W-2 Wage and Tax Statements for both
the applicant and co-applicant.
· Important - If you file a tax return but do not have
W2 wages because you are self-employed, you must submit a copy of your personal
and business tax returns for 2023.
· Income/loss
from any of the following: Business, Farm, Rental Property, S-Corporation,
Partnership - Upload your full 2023 Form1040 along with all supporting
documentation, forms and schedules.
· Estates
and Trusts-(Form 1040 Line 17) Schedule E (page 2), Form 1041 and Schedule
K-1
· Copies of
all supporting documentation for household Non-Taxable Income such as: Social
Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers' Compensation,
and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Documents must be uploaded before your application will be
processed.
Please Note
· Mark your calendar to review your application two
weeks after it is submitted to confirm that it is marked as complete.
If you have a question as to why your application is not marked complete,
please reach out to FACTS Customer Service at (866) 441-4637.
· If your application is completed by the March 15
deadline, you will be notified via email of your award near the first week of
May. Tuition assistance grants will be applied to your tuition account
after you have accepted your award online.
· If you have multiple children, the award for your second
child will be visible after you accept the award for your first child.
