Welcome to the Madison Area YMCA Financial Assistance application. It is the policy of the Madison Area YMCA to make membership and program participation available to all people, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or financial circumstances without discrimination. We offer financial assistance for membership, childcare, classes, and camps.
Prior
to starting this application:
Collect
all required documents which are listed below and upload on FACTS. Failure to
upload all documents will result in an incomplete application.
- Two (2)
years of the most recent tax returns.
- Most
recent month’s pay stubs (2- if paid bi-weekly; 4- if paid weekly; 1- if
paid monthly) OR most recent yearly Social Security Benefits Statement for
all members of the household.
- Two (2)
months of all bank account statements include all pages (checking and
savings).
- Lease
or mortgage statement or a room rental agreement.
- Social
services statements (food stamps, CFR or NJCK vouchers, Section 8
vouchers, unemployment benefits, etc., if applicable).
- Court
orders that are related to additional revenue such as alimony and child
support (if applicable).
- Letter
stating the need for financial assistance and a list of all monthly
expenses. (Proof of expenses may be required.) The letter should also
include any special circumstances that may be occurring (Including:
Layoff, medical, recent family separation, job change, etc.)
Tips:
- Apply to school year
“2024-2025”
- “Student” is whichever
individual (adult or child) is applying for financial assistance.
- “Tuition” is the cost of
the membership or program for which you would like financial assistance.
- “School” is the Madison
Area YMCA
