Dear Mater Dei Family:

We are pleased to announce for the 2024-2025 School Year, FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will again be conducting the tuition assistance analysis with last year’s tax return for Mater Dei High School.

Beginning this year, you will be able to complete your tuition assistance application using your 2022 Federal tax information along with your 2022 W-2 form with the non-refundable $38.00 Application Processing Fee.

Tuition Assistance is granted to those families that qualify on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Once your application has been evaluated by FACTS, your application and evaluation will be forwarded to the Mater Dei High School Financial Review Committee so they may make a decision on any potential tuition assistance grant.  Failure to complete your financial application and provide the necessary supporting documentation by the December 11th deadline may impact the amount of tuition assistance you are eligible to receive.

The Financial Review Committee considers many factors in determining the amount of aid granted.  Demonstrated financial need, the number of families applying for aid and the amount of tuition assistance funds available from Mater Dei High School are significant factors in determining tuition assistance.

However, another major factor for consideration will be the family’s recent tuition payment history at Mater Dei High School.  Families that still have a tuition balance from the 2023-2024 school year will not be eligible for tuition assistance next year.  After tuition assistance for each family has been determined, it is your responsibility to meet the balance of your tuition payment.

Applicants can apply on-line by clicking the following link https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3CZRQ.  The deadline to submit your application is Monday, December 11, 2023.  Once an online application has been completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

Copies of your 2022 Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.

·        Copies of your 2022 W-2 forms for both you and your spouse.

·        Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.

All supporting documentation must be uploaded in PDF format to the application.

If you have questions or concerns about the application process, you may speak with a FACTS Customer Care Representative at (866) 441-4637 or you may contact the Business Office at (714) 850-9504 or (714) 850-9506.

Thank you,

MDHS Financial Review Committee
