FACTS
for Guided Tuition
We are pleased to offer you a convenient,
online method to apply for Guided Tuition through FACTS for Detroit Country Day
School. Families of students Pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to apply for need-based Guided
Tuition. Students at all levels
may apply for financial assistance, although aid will be granted in descending
order with our Middle and Upper School students receiving priority
consideration. Lower School applicants may be considered if Guided Tuition is
still available.
Simple Steps to Apply for Financial
Aid Online:
- If you are a New FACTS user,
please select “Create a Username & Password” to begin. If you have an
existing FACTS account, select “Sign In”.
- Then, click on the Start
Application button.
- Select the appropriate school
year.
- Complete the steps as prompted.

Applying for Financial
Aid
FACTS Grant & Aid
Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Detroit Country
Day School for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In order to be considered
for a regular award decision deadline, new families must have an
application and 2022 1040 Federal Tax Returns along with all supporting
business schedules, attachments and your 2023 W-2s for both parents submitted
to FACTS by January 31st. 2024, to allow for their two-week
processing time. Detroit Country Day School will send early award notifications
to qualified families beginning March 15.
FACTS Grant
& Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Detroit
Country Day School for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. In order to be
considered for an award decision, families must complete the FACTS application
and submit the following documents: 2022 1040 Federal Tax Returns along with all supporting business schedules, W2’s
from 2023. Detroit Country Day School will award notifications to qualified
families beginning in March.
Please complete your
FACTS application and submit your 2022 1040 federal tax returns along with all
supporting business schedules by January 31st, 2024.
Update your record
with the W2 forms for 2023 for both parents by February 5th,
2024.
Families should apply online here. Please note: Students at all levels may apply for financial

applicants will be considered next. Once an online application has been
completed, the following information will need to be sent to FACTS to complete
the application process:
- Copies of your 2022 1040
Federal tax forms, including all supporting tax schedules, attachments,
and your 2023 W-2s for both parents.
- Copies of supporting documentation
for Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps and Workers’ Compensation (not all
families will have such items).
